Happy Valentine’s Day
Have you ever sent online greeting cards? If not, today is the perfect day to give it a try. Here are the three sites that I use:
1. JacquieLawson.com - Jacquie lives in a cottage in England. Her cards are works of art set to beautiful music. They really stand out. You have to be a member to send her cards but as of this writing the cost is only $8 a year.
2. Hallmark- You’ll see the link to their e-cards section at the top. Hallmark has tons of funny cards. They have other kinds too but I like the funny ones. They’re totally free and loads of cards to chose from.
3. Charles Dickens – Gad’s Hill Place- I must admit that this is one of my sites. But what would it say about me if I didn’t make a card page that I like? My cards are free and feature lovely Victorian artwork. They’re more customizable than the others so it’s a chance for you to get in touch with your inner artist. The cards aren’t animated so they’re perfect to send to people on dial-up. (Animation can really use up the bandwidth.) There’s no sound so they’re good for folks in an office situation who may be unable to crank up the volume.
