3. A domain name
A domain name is a unique name or address for websites. The domain name for this site is perryweb.com. Here are some other domain names that you may be familiar with:
- Amazon.com
- TVGuide.com
- Google.com
In order to make sure that the names are unique all domain names are registered. And there’s an annual fee for registering the domain name. The most you should ever pay for domain name registration is $35 a year.

- Your website host – You can often save on domain name registration if you register the domain name at the same time that you sign up for a website host.
- GoDaddy.com – They have great prices and loads of services
