When I last wrote about Technorati I wondered if the blog search engine was on it’s way out. My biggest problem with it was that it was painfully slow to use. Click on any link in the site and you were in for a good long wait while the page loaded.

It’s been almost six months and things have improved a lot over at Technorati. The painful lags are gone.  The site is positively zippy. Plus there are some new features. Blogger Central has a list of the top 100 blogs.  They’ve moved the page for pinging your blog to this section.  Visit the ping page to make Technorati check your blog for new posts.
