Searching for a Search Tool
It’s easy to add a search box to a blog, but what if you have a “standard” website? Google provides a free search tool, but you run the risk of having your customers see results from sites other than your own.
A reliable and reasonably priced alternative is JiansNet. I’ve installed the service at www.SkipMcGrath.com. (The search box is on the right under the Top Pages box.) Jian’s search technology works like a charm. As an added bonus Jian provides reports that show the terms that people entered into the search box. This helps us discover new topics for articles and newsletters.
