There are so many WordPress themes out there.  How do you know which to choose?  There are no cut and dried answers.  However if you’d like your blog to stand out from the crowd something to look for is a website with an updatable header graphic.  These themes allow you to replace the header graphic with one of your own choosing.  It’s great for personalizing the look and feel of a WordPress theme.

Here are some themes that allow custom header graphics:

• Jillij – This is one of my all time favorite themes.  I also love the menu layout!
• Simplicity – This theme doesn’t contain a graphic uploader but I love everything else about it.  You can set it to be flexible or fixed width.  If you want a fixed width website you can adjust the size.  It even helps you with the Meta Tags.
• Misty Look – While Misty Look does allow you change the image header, the graphic that comes with the theme is so pretty that you may want to keep it.
• Connections Reloaded – I must admit I have soft spot for this theme.  It was one of the first that I ever used.
• Painter – This theme allows you to change the header as well as the colors used throughout the blog.  Very spiffy!
