Hosting.com Problem?
As you may know, HostMySite has purchased Hosting.com and is now doing business as Hosting.com. I’m a bit nervous about this change. HostMySite is the best website host I’ve ever worked with. Will the change mean that uptime, customer support and technical support will go downhill?
Until recently I was hopeful that my worry was unfounded.
One of my customers called me last Friday. She reported that business email disappeared from her account. Hosting.com couldn’t offer any explanation as to what happened. They also didn’t seem concerned about it. That’s not what I expect from a hosting company.
Glitches do happen. Not all technical support people have great people skills. So maybe this was just one of those things, but maybe not. If you’re one of my customers and you’re having problems with the new Hosting.com, please let me know. If their service level is declining, I can move you to another website host.
